Out of the hustle & bustle, into a quiet retreat

72 Acres of primarily sugar maple forest with a secret stand of mature white pines on Taylor Creek. Some walking trails with a beautiful Oak Amphitheatre for wedding ceremonies. Parking is 4 km from the renowned Robertson Cliff main trailhead, overlooking the Goulais River Valley and Lake Superior.

What to expect?

  • Bell tent
  • You’ll have this Hipcamp all to yourself.
  • 2 guests max
  • Campfires allowed
  • Firewood provided, firepit
  • Composting toilet available

Pets are allowed on leash. Pets can be OFF leash on site, but when walking in the forest, please leash your dogs. 

  • Trash bins available
  • Picnic table present
  • Potable water onsite

  • Bring your own water, purify from river or stream
  • No showers
  • Bathe in river or stream
  • Cooking equipment absent
  • Not a full kitchen area, but we have a kitchen table, a kettle for boiling water, some shelving to unpack dry food, and hopefully a fridge coming soon.
